Luís Seoane (Buenos Aires 1910 – A Corunna 1973), in spite of being born in Buenos Aires, lived since his childhood in Galicia, being very early in his ideology and political activity in A Coruña, where he practiced law (in the field of labour judiciary), and in politics, as a member of the Galician Party. After the Civil War broke out, Seoane went into exile in Buenos Aires, where he developed an active career as a painter and writer. In the present research, we will focus on Seoane as a most notable figure of Spanish and Galician exile in several countries of America, and especially in Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela and Cuba, and his surprising pictorial work and poetry in Galician.
