Abstract

Alexander of Macedonia, justly entitled the Great, represented to his contemporary world a breakdown of political and cultural borders, having transformed the limits between Europe, Asia and Africa. More than the military victories, in which the young king proved himself a master strategist, we will be interested in the plan he has forged in order to create a true political and cultural fusion among the conquered peoples. In spite of the barriers that adverse oppositions had set against him, Alexander succeeded, nevertheless, in forever changing the world, which he left at an early age.
