Abstract

Caderno de um ausente, a novella by João Anzanello Carrascoza, shares with the reader, presumed emotions and feelings between fatalities and redemptions established in the scope of profound truths of life, affections, measures taken around the action of biblical ancestors towards their descendants, from its heading, retrieved from the novella Lavoura arcaica, by Raduan Nassar. The narrators and characters of Caderno de um ausente and Lavoura arcaica are speakers and their voices are circumscribed in values whose initial proportions and measures come from the first biblical books, constitutive and figurative affinities, which we will study in this textual analysis.
