From the materialistic discursive perspective, we think about the gesture of escape in its relationship with the symbolic, situating it as a gesture that goes beyond univocal senses. In the construction of utopias related to the city, especially, a set of senses is established that delimits a specific scope for which certain people must go and from where others should escape. This is how the favela pacification project is presented, which opens the analysis of other possibilities of escape.
