Abstract

The complete dramatic works by Natália Correia (1923-1993) include fi fteen different titles. Three of them could receive the label of brief forms as playscripts: O Progresso de Édipo – Poema dramático (1957); Comunicação – Auto da feiticeira Cotovia (1959); e O Homúnculo – Tragédia jocosa (1965). A critical approach of these three dramatic texts can simultaneously provide a broad view of how versatile Natália is as playwright, in an interchange between the poetic word and the theatrical languages.
