Eu próprio e o outro: memórias de um encontro singular
Abstract
For last few decades, deep transformations have been occurring in the relationship between animal and human. These have had indisputable impact on literary representation, accounting for the writers’ endeavout to fictionally thematise new forms of interaction with animal otherness. In this respect, Jorge de Sena (“Homenagem ao Papagaio Verde”), Manuel Alegre (Cão como nós), and Maria Gabriela Llansol (Amar um cão) have mapped in their fictional works these new routes of encounter with the Other.
