About the Journal

The institutional nature of Revista Estudos do ISCA links its evolution to its context. The I Series, in paper, entitled Estudos do ISCAA (n.º 1/1981 and n.º 2/3/1983) shows the mark of the qualitative strength of the still very young institution. The II Series (n.º1/1995, n.º 2/1996/n.º 3 and n.º 4/1998, n.º 5 /1999, n.º 6/7/2000/2001) opens the door to the online test of the III Series (n.º 1/2/3/2007). The IV Series of Revista Estudos do ISCA begins in 2010 with the strength of a publication hosted in PROA-UA.

In 2022, the Revista Estudos do ISCA begins its V Series, with a new scope and an annual publication rhythm, presenting itself as a channel of dissemination of scientific projects developed at the institution, as well as events organized and held at the institution.

The electronic format of free access, available through the “open journal systems” platform, allows reaching a diverse and wide audience, from the academic community to former students, professionals, and partner entities, who will be able to find in this publication a form of connection and follow-up of scientific and academic activities developed at the institution.
