Um mapeamento de caracteristicas e tendências no jornalismo online brasileiro e porfuguês

Resumo

The article summarizes some preliminary findings of an efforf to map ouf characteristics and tendencies of commercial, daily and freely accessible Web Newspapers in Brazil and Portugal. The main aim was to identify how potentially available technical resources in telematic nefworks (interactivity, multimediality, hyperfextuality, personalizacion /
customization, memory) are appropriated and used by Web Newspapers in both countries, in an attempt to esfablish comparafive categories for furfher studies. The research was conducted by members of the Research Group on Online Journalism, Universidade Federal da Bahia (Brazil), from August 2000 to October 2001. The sample included 44 Brazilan and seven Portuguese Web Newspapers.
