Agamemnon in Greek archaic lyric

In this article, we seek to trace down the figure of Agamemnon in the texts included in the corpus presently known as the archaic Greek lyric, by emphasizing the most illustrative testimonies by three archaic poets: two fragments from Stesichorus’s Oresteia, the 282a PMGF Davies by Ibycus, and the Pithian XI, by Pindar.
