Eurípides: una inversión

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to clarify the relationship between the Greek political project (the polis) and the figures of women in the tragedies of Euripides, especially in Alcestis and Medea. It argues that the reasons why women are increasingly excluded from the political realm are also the reasons why their voices are to be heard once that project is consummated.
