After having devoted two epinicians to Argeus (Odes 1 and 2), in Odes 6-8 Bacchylides celebrates the sporting achievements of two other of his compatriots Ceos also took great pride in: Leucon and Liparion, both winners in the Olympic Games, and Nemeus, respectively. In this article, these three poems will be translated and analysed.
