O amor de Medeia, visto por Eurípides e Séneca

Abstract
When comparing the protagonist's behaviour in Euripides's and Seneca's Medea we realise that in the Greek playwright the character is moved by injustice, outrage, wrath and revenge. She is a woman who was once in love with Jason, but is no longer motivated by love in the moments depicted in the tragedy. In Seneca's drama, on the contrary, she remains deeply in love and she is presented as such by the playwright throughout the whole play; the tenible deeds she practises are justified, just as her past crimes were, by her overwhelming and unconditional love for Jason.
